Styling Tips:
- Apply a curl defining, thermal protectant to damp hair. Look for a product that also offers frizz control and volume building properties.
- To help boost hair’s natural texture and body, dry hair using a diffusing attachment with your hairdryer.
- Create an exaggerated side-part on your preferred side of the head, and sweep hair over in the preferred direction.
- When hair is dry, spritz roots with a dry shampoo for more texture and volume. Or, to build even more volume and texture after blowout, dust your roots with a texture powder, and use a teasing comb to lightly tease the roots around the crown of your head. You can tease your roots more or less depending on the amount of volume you desire.
- Next, use a small barrel curling wand to control and reshape any wild curls.
- After curling, use a hair pick to lift and pull hair up along your roots, and use your fingers to gently relax curls and shape hair as desired.
- Once styled, use a lightweight finishing spray to hold curls and lock in style.
