- Prep hair by applying a texturing, thickening, and thermal protecting product to damp hair, and rough dry your bangs using your fingers, shaping and styling as you dry. Then, proceed to rough dry remaining hair.
- When hair is dry, use a curling rod to curl hair sections at a time. Start each curl about 2-3 inches from your scalp and stop each curl about 2 inches from the end of each strand of hair that you curl. Remember, it is important to create curls going both towards and away from the face.
- After curling, rub a small amount of texture putty between hands and use your fingers to gently tousle and loosen curls, or spray hair all over with a dry texture spray and tousle and separate curls.
