Styling Tips:
- Brush through hair, to ensure there are no tangles in hair, and create a center part, dividing hair into two equal sections, a left section and right section.
- To begin the braiding process, (1) step one, grab a small lock of hair, from the right section, near the forehead, and divide this lock into three smaller pieces. Use your fingers to hold the pieces (upper, center, and lower pieces) separate. (2) Step Two, cross the upper piece under the center piece. (3) Step Three, cross the lower piece under the center piece. (4) Step Four, add a new, small section of hair to the upper piece, and cross the upper piece back under the center section. (5) Step Five, doing as you did with the upper piece, add a small section of hair to the lower piece and cross the lower piece back under the center piece. (6) Step Six, continue to repeat these last two braiding steps (Steps 4 & 5) to complete the full braid. (7) Step Seven, when your braid reaches the nape of your neck, stop the braid, and secure the end of the braid with an elastic hair tie. To create an identical dutch braid on the left side of the head, repeat the first 6 steps above, using the hair on the left side of the head. After creating the left braid, use the hair tie from the right braid to secure both the left and right braids.
- Once both braids are secured, use your fingers to gently pull at the sides of the braids, loosening hair strands all along each braid, to enlarge and puff the braids.
- Spritz hair with a lightweight finishing spray to hold hairs in place.
